American Football v Rugby

Rugby, a mans game played by in the closet homosexuals. American Football, the worst named sport in the world, played by drug addicts, criminals and wife beaters.

How do you know; did you check, mate?

i have a chess set somewhere that i made when i was an apprentice, had to write the programs for the machines and then make it, it got inspected by m.o.d. inspectors to about 1/1000th of a millimeter. needless to say a lot of time was put into it and it would've cost the taxpayer a fortune.

we used to make replica gun carriages and stuff for m.o.d. chiefs, generals and the like that would come to visit, they would get gold plated, so had to be polished until there wasn't a single mark on them before gold plating, it would take about 60 apprentices a month to make one and polish it, that alone would've cost a mint cos we were on about 200 notes a week, so £48,000 in wages alone.

There are times like this when I would love that weird American fan who wanted to make Drago's for Everton.

PBH Everton? A forum legend.

That sounds like torture for me, I'm not one for small details.

I can't say that I know a ton about Rugby, other than what I saw in the mid 80s when ESPN had "odd" programming. I've tried to watch in the past but can't say I'm all that interested.

But I don't think you can say that American Football players aren't as tough because they wear helmets and padding. It's because of that protection that they launch themselves at each other and create amazing collisions.

It's the same in ice hockey, although hockey collisions are more violent and the game is much quicker. My favorite sport is hockey, so I'm a bit biased, but these guys are amazing athletes and for the most part are tough as nails.

The commentary is absolutely fantastic. Why doesn't that happen in football?
