2023/24 Amadou Onana

Lots of games coming up. Resting Onana isn't a bad thing. If he's injured it's likely only to be something small, he came down to the Street end after the final whistle to celebrate.
Should have rested him in a competition we won't be winning against the opposition's much weakened side.

I agree, I actually think Gana is still really good at protecting the back four. Not good going forward, but it was never his strength. Glad to have him to come in. Like for like replacement. Not the square peggs in round holes we've had over the last few years.

Well after so many years without any silverware we need to try and win a cup somehow to break the rut. I think playing a strong squad was a good call.
Sounds like a minor thing for Onana and the boys are doing well without him so far. Any PL team needs a squad, you can not rely on the same 11 all season without a bit of rotation.
