had initially feared the worst lining up in a two-man midfield against some quality players, but he absolutely ran the show throughout, so so dominant
Love the way he wraps his long leg around a tackle and comes away with the ball and no foul.
Two good players in centre mid makes such a difference. As I've said before when people have said play Garner at right back or right wing, rubbish, he is a good centre mid with the potential to become a very good centre mid, play him there and let him learn his trade. As for Onana, he is the perfect foil for Garner, two decent players.

Love the way both Garner and Onana look to turn and get past there marker. Makes a big difference in the middle if you can get behind your opposite number rather than just passing sideways and backwards.
