…only just 21 & you’d think he’s been here years. Crazy how he’s had an instant impact, he’ll be a crowd favourite. What a talent on and off the pitch.

From a technical perspective, bit concerned he seems to slide tackle with his wrong leg at times. need to work on that with the coaches.
I get what you are saying about the sliding with the wrong leg, but it weirdly works for him.

Didn't think he was great but still light years ahead of his first couple of games. Rice and Soucek probably the biggest midfield he'll come up against too.

He'll have more good games than bad in ghe future.

If he takes the ball cleanly like he does then there's no issue with that.

I thought the same, from bitter experience tackling with the wrong leg is asking for injury

Still, amazed at how well he times the tackles, he just seem to have crazy reach in being able to hook the ball away. Contrast with, for example, Andre Gomes

I hope he's not playing through injury or anything. Overall he had a decent game but didn't seem to be moving about too freely in the second half.

Looks a cracking personality this fella, has looked really effective in the midfield as well now he's up to speed.

We're building a young, hungry group and it's really good to see. Just need to make sure we don't expect too much too soon.

Thought he was a bit off it today on the ball but followed Rice around and completely nullified his influence on the game, as well as breaking into forward positions off the back of him as well. Covered a lot of ground and looked a bit cooked towards the end but full international break to get the lungs back and let the bruises heal so all gravy

Love his inclination to hurtle into tackles.

Bright future ahead of him
He is in the full Belgium squad for the upcoming games against Wales and the Netherlands. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. Hopefully Martínez won't over work him - a couple of second half cameos will do.
