We were so much better all over the park today.
The tempo was fast and slick and I loved the closing down and getting in the face of the Arsenal players.
They have to play at the same speed every week though, they have set the standard.

But today the combo of The Duke, Onana and Gueye controlled the majority of the game and Arsenal are the best in the league at the moment - incredible stuff. If/when he does get his move to Barca/City - you'll suddenly notice a severe reduction in number of yellow cards given to him. Shocking how eager the refs are to book him

He has and did show that he will engage aggressively and energetically for the cause. He is the leader in the middle with Gana and Doucs the future battle is in good shape. Arse midfield is very good. They had to change. Great start.

It only opens up for him once or twice a game but when he's running at full stride he is impossible to stop.

He'll be scary good if/when he polishes up his technique. Clubs will be sniffing around in the summer but hope we can keep him for another season at least.

I hope we can keep him for at least one more season - he’s the type of player that will encourage other decent players to join. If you’re a centre mid watching him today you think to yourself - ‘feck me, I bet it’s an armchair ride playing next to him.’

I felt man of the match was a Toss up between him and McNeil. He had his best game today. Felt like he was pushed a bit higher up the pitch. Swapped the press with Doucoure played some nice football and fought tirelessly. He also had his shirt ragged for Tarkowskis goal where his presence caused Arsenal a lot of problems.

Probably not how I intended that to read…. Not that we want players in that think they don’t have to put the hard yards in but that if you are a good player he’d be someone that you would want to play next to the f that make sense?
