Exactly, can hardly fault people for wanting a better situation. The fact he's willing to at least try and contribute to keep us up says a lot. Someone who came through the academy and owes everything to Everton could perhaps learn something from that.
I dont even blame Gordon for wanting away, but there are ways to do it.

That's my only gripe with him leaving to be honest.
Last week of the window and he skips training and hands in a request. Now we don't know everything that went on but it just is pathetic when you look at it like that.
