Am I Crazy?

Not now but I remember watching him play there for South Africa against Brazil a week or so after mama went to Madrid. You would have sworn pienaar was the player worth £50mil, he was brilliant, absolutely ripped Brazil apart.

Try it in a cup game maybe.

Idea to eliminate garbage: edible paper. You see, you eat it, it's gone. Eat it, it's out of there!

That might help Kenwright escape from Watched Toffee's inquiries.

"This is a lovely contract, where do I sign?"

"Oh, this is lovely paper too--even sweeter than the deal we've just struck!"

<evil laughter>

<Kenwright belches>

IF (CAPITAL LETTERS)...Pienaar can get and stay healthy...his attributes would seem to my admittedly untrained eyes...to be a perfect #10. He's always had some of the best on ball skills in our side, and his vision and knack for a clever pass has always impressed me. He doesn't have the legs to play out wide anymore, and he was always tucking in anyway with Baines out wide...which is obviously not a feature of our team anymore.

It's a moot point now, but when Pienaar returns, why not play him centrally and conduct the orchestra?

Ok now you can tell me I'm crazy.

Mental mert.

Should have been n10 for the last 5 years, probably the most intelligent footballer we've had in the last 10 years.

Our current best number 10 is Osman, the season before last Osman played pretty much every game and look where we finished. The team lacks a brain.

You're spot in regarding Osman being our best player in that position. Regardless of how much crap he gets he's the one fella who can take a ball, hold onto it and pick a pass. Very much like Pienaar only he doss it centrally.

I mentioned in the Lennon thread today that I watched the Everton v Newcastle game from last season and how much balance Lennon gave us and helped Coleman. Well Osman does the same as in balance.

He may be 34 and it's a sad state of affairs that Bobby is into year 3 and hasn't got a clue how to replace the likes of Osman and Pienaar. It's true what they say, you don't know what you got until it's gone and that is certainly the case with Osman as well as Pienaar.

Also Coleman would be the backup if the shoe wasn't always injured lar

His body has given up on him, but a lot of us have reckoned that for years JDawg. Thing is, when he was at his peak he was part of Bainaar, and you wouldn't want to have broken that up either.

He would have done a fine job though.
