Am I bitter?

I presume if they fail to win the title, Hansen will be only too happy to quote his oft used Liverpool FC motto of 'first is first and second is nowhere' in answer to cobblers about them being the Peoples Champions ( you just KNOW that Stevie G lar or Brenda have that quote lined up ready.....)

I'm getting there now. Hoping for another victory parade going past my flat in manchester this season....as long as we get our point/win against hull mind.

Quite like the old school city fans around here too which is a bonus, they don't have the sense of entitlement the two red teams in the respective cities have just yet
Filthy lucre will spoil younger City fans though...soon, they will feel entitled... and they will be consequently ruined

The old school City fans were always more than sound. A lot of the old United fans too.

Both from solid working class socialist backgrounds. Both have known suffering, it levels a fan.
As an old school rabid socialist I cant believe you found a sound rag fan

They are all Surrey Tories, check out Tim Montgomerie the guy who runs conhome

Anyone who has watched one of those "victory parades" before the home games, where grown men bow and even cry when the team bus arrives... will know that 99% of Evertonians and indeed the entire global football family want that horrible club and fanbase to crash and burn.
I want them to not only lose the league, but to do a Glasgow Rangers and DIE

Their behaviour if they win the league will destroy the game of football, it will become a circus. "we go again" Lord give me strength!!!! #againstmodernfootball #againstLFC

What a post...

Spot on too.

If I could trust Liverpool to win the title with a bit of class and dignity and share it to the football world maybe I wouldn't be so against them winning it.

However they can't be trusted! They will boast, brag, claim the world fall at there feet whilst shoving the title in everyone's faces for 10 months.

First and foremost I support Everton FC, I want us to win every game we play, that said when in the company of other Evertonians I don't care who wins if we don't, when in the company of sh1te supporters I want anyone but them to win, there have been times when their genuine stupid classless behaviour has tipped me to hating them more than I love being a blue. That is just wrong.
But what can you do? They are a cult, or a virus, infecting everything they contact, they wind me up no end because they live in a bubble that really needs popping, anything that helps that to happen is welcomed.
Especially if tears of disappointment follow...
So, no, not bitter, just a natural reaction..

Sorry to double post this, but for me this is the gift that keeps giving and I want to share the joy. It's perspective, like:

where do you start here....

Scottish liverpool fan
scottish singing an England song
Drinking bud
wearing his top at home
Hasn't been the premiership for god knows how long
And not knowing his history (they actually lost in athens) the complete weapon

The number of reds who have told me I'm bitter because I don't want them to win the league is really starting to get on my tits. I've tried to explain that I don't want them to win it because they're our local rivals and it's nothing to do with bitterness but they genuinely aren't having it.

Is it bitter though? Would they really be supporting us if the roles were reversed, like so many of them are claiming?

How bitter were they after the Chelsea game though?
Bitterness is part of being a football supporter

To deny it would be pointless

You want to do well and you want the teams you don't like to do poorly

It's human nature
