Almost right where we were last season.

Last season we had 15 points through 14 games, right now sitting at 15 points through 13 games. Hopefully we have a similar last 2/3 of the season as last year with a few more points.

Last season was a terrible season for us. It was the first time we'd dropped out of the top 7 for years, and we fell from consecutive 5th place finishes to 8th.

Looking at the games we've had, we should have nearly twice as many points. And I'm not even joking. We've pissed away a good 5 in the last 8 days.

What makes it worse, is that the top 4 aside, everyone's pissing points away. But as usual we've outdone them all.
 
Ya no i agree the first 13 games have been not great, the point im trying to make is hopefully we play as well as we did the 23 games last year, hopefully a bit better as we were only 2 points out of europe... 9 points out of the champions league.

I'd like to think this is a 96/97 vintage.

Hanging on to memories of a great team with the same great players but playing so badly KK jumped ship.

I'm with you mate, but Everton have let us down big time so far. We could have been flying at this point. We should have been.

Hopefully, the inevitable resurgence, won't come too late. And hopefully Bill will find £10 mil under the sofa, and we can bring in some new blood in January, and/or the fod.
 

That's a frightening stat. We had a shed load of players out injured by that stage too didn't we?

Our best player by a country mile can also leave for a fee in January if a deal could be brokered...and deffo by next summer.

This season has the potential to become brutal.
 

We were dreadful last 1st quarter season too. Hubbard at CB, if I'm not mistaken we have "strengthened" in that area since. And were at the same level...
