Some of the comments. In the last couple of years we have had so many in midfield who just couldnt be arsed. Now not happy because we have a player who "is trying to do to much"
Interesting though on how people see the game. I voted him motm against fulham. First half everyone took the plaudits. Second half i thought he was the only one who was still doing his job. On his OWN.
Read on here last week someone calling him a box to box midfielder. Wondering if some actualy ever saw him at Napoli.
He's a caretaker who sweeps up and a really good one. If he's guilty of trying to hard when others go missing he'll do for me.

I said on Sunday watching the game that Allan was the only one making a determined concerted effort to block, tackle and retain the ball in the middle....doing his job. I was annoyed with the amount of times there was a Fulham player with the ball on the edge of our box... and four blue shirts in the vicinity just looking at him like a spot-the-ball photo. Every defender is scared of giving a pen away with VAR now, but lets face it, perfecting some semblance of technique (given theyre defenders mostly) would give a chance of success.
 


His positioning is going to be one of those things I go on about and everyone swears I'm an idiot but whatever, he is all over the place and on occasion it exposes us.
