He’s a solid player when fit. Think he’s a better option on the bench than Davies and putting Sigurdsson in there on sat would change the balance of the midfield.

Id be surprised if Deloh could start after playing 90mins in midweek. He did really well and should be jumping at the chance to stay in the team

One thing about Delph is that he is quite happy getting stuck in and would do well
on the two-footed tackle register in the derby. He is not Allan but against LFC and in
this team he will be up for the fight, unlike so many recent of out players in derby games.

Think he played 3 on the bounce after Gbamin got injured and that led to him breaking physically and mentally. Also contributing to our dismal form and eventual sacking of Silva. So really we've been too hard on him as a fanbase

Imagine if Delph plays the derby and it results in a victory and one of the RS players getting launched into the sun by him in the process.

Would be total redemption for him here.

I'm in agreement. We have to concentrate on the RS in the short term to see how much we have grown over the summer . If we can give the c-words a decent game , we then know how good we can really be.
Also , it really should be a priority every season until it gets boring taking the pee out of them . That should take approximately an eternity .

the derby is 3 points, Brighton is 3 points.

it needs to be treated as such; yes we all want to win it, but it's the illogical pressure placed on two games a season by fans, journalists and within the club that has created this proverbial cross we have to bear. Treated like a normal game and the improvement and wins will come
