ah Roy Keane, the guy who ended someones career on purpose, lovely bloke.

For me, I'll never forget the likes of lineker, or platt, those world cup memories will stay with me forever.

Hated him at the time, but damn Dunga was the best at what he did.
 
Defend? go in goal? :P

His goal is one of the most famous ever, but has anyone seen del piero's for juve which is kinda similar but in my opinion better than van basten's.
 
Ah yes, but Del Piero is just a show pony, whereas van Basten was part of arguably the greatest club side ever. If his career wasn't cut short by injury I think he'd have been the greatest centre forward to play the game.

In the recent general election Keane finished top of the poll in 3 out of 342 seats pity he wasnt running.

zola, bergkamp, vieira, scholes, klinsman, so many to choose from that were all experts in their position.
 

Van basten gets my vote as the best in Internationals, the best I've seen in the Prem has to be Zola(y)
 
If your talking about the best footballer ever, there is only 2 - Pele or Maradona. Pele would get the vote with his more sporting persona.

Bergkamp - Would pay to see him play, every time.
Di Canio - Loved his passion/anger explosion.
Henry - Can transcend a game with his genius.
Zidane - Like him even more for butting Materazzi. On top of his game, un playable.
Maradona - Hate him, but something else when up for it.
Van Basten - Complete forward and scorer of spectacular goals.
Southall - The. Best. Ever.
 
hmmmm, ok, 2 new ones into the mix, Michel Platini, and Paulo Maldini(pure professional) and of course I love Southall, he was God)

True sporting gentleman. (Always had a bad rep, read his book, he is pure class, and we all remember what he did when P.Gerrard got injured)
