I have to agree on this occasion.
Paul has been adamant from the off as to the reasons that he thinks it won't ever happen, but I don't think it's anywhere near as cut and dried as that, and never have had.
Esk is a businessman mate and as such i honestly think he is looking at it through that prism, and ignoring several huge factors in the entire scenario, in a way thinking about how he would feel in Moshiri's shoes etc and why it makes sense to him that he would decide to strike out alone and make his own mark - without always being tagged as the junior partner in the dealings like he always has been with Usmanov.
But thats ignoring the fact some people are far more comfortable in that role, and a hugely succesful accountant 'fixer' who to all appearances does not seem comfortable in or to desire ANY of the notariety or spotlight that he finds himself in - would be a strange choice to suddenly strike out on his own at his age. Both have talked about it being their joint dream to won a club, under the current scenario that Esk favours we are to believe it is more likely that one fo those has given up his dream (Usmanov) to allow the other to fulfill his, i think the situation is more likely to be that they are stil pursuing that shared wish and atm we are at phase 1 of a several phase leaving of Arsenal and full control of Everton.
Especially when given the fact that esk has siggested that Moshiri will bring other investors on board, yet rules out the most obvious one - and one he can 100% trust to fulfill any promise made to him in Usmanov, just seems illogical
