Maybe just maybe Lampard can do for Iwobi what we hope he can do for Alli and manage to get the best out of a player that at one time had much higher expectations than his recent performances warrant.

Not saying they are exactly the same because Iwobi has never produced what Alli did at one time but with Iwobi stating he wants to be a 10 then perhaps Lampard can turn Iwobi into a decent bench player to replace Alli after 70 mins

The big difference is Alli was quality and one of the best players in the prem at one time, Iwobi has always been cack.

To be honest, I don't know how many 'new starts' this lad has failed to take. One minute he looks like he's going to come good, the next he reverts to his old self.
