Maybe just maybe Lampard can do for Iwobi what we hope he can do for Alli and manage to get the best out of a player that at one time had much higher expectations than his recent performances warrant.

Not saying they are exactly the same because Iwobi has never produced what Alli did at one time but with Iwobi stating he wants to be a 10 then perhaps Lampard can turn Iwobi into a decent bench player to replace Alli after 70 mins

Think it's far more likely Iwobi does what he always does; look half decent in training to get into the squad and proceed to be absolutely hump whenever he gets a game. One thing Benitez did get right was calling that out, he said something along the lines of certain players "tricking you" in training, and he was spot on. He dropped him from then on.
