He had a couple decent plays around the box (the through ball to Richy and the flick to Doucore) but other than that, yeah. He is pretty much useless. I’d rather him over Gomes at this point but if Gray or Townsend are healthy they need to be ahead of him.

Why is everything so polar?! He worked really hard and deserves credit, he wasn’t brilliant on the ball and can be criticised. It’s fine to say he had an ok game not brilliant or awful.

He had Cancelo to contend with and he did a good job, My issue with him is he’s struggles to beat a man but he has put more effort in the last 3 matches than I’ve seen in a blue shirt. He played ok Against possibly the best team in Europe. Certainly the best right back.
