Remembered the time we bought him he has one of the highest statistic success passing rate into the box in the league. Only now it seemed we are getting what we paid.

Yeah I'd agree with that, although most of his game time came as a left forward whilst at Arsenal. Question remains as to whether he can play the role of '8' instead of Gomes when the games are tight and not so end-to-end, and you face periods under the cosh where you have to play conservatively and prioritise ball retention when trying to break a team down. Hopefully his general decision making improves if he gets a decent run of games, because he's got some really unique attributes which could make him a very effective player if he can just add an element of consistency..

I think he will always be an expensive back up whilst he's here

Impossible to tell how calculated it was, but instead of returning it to Dom in a tight space he played it well to James in the open. Great piece of vision.
