He was properly crap yesterday bar that nice run and shot at the end of the first half. I'll give him that, nobody else in our squad can do that from a central midfield position, so fair play, and he was close.

But his passing was awful, his touch was abysmal.

It's so easy to lose patience with him because 90% of the time I have no idea what he's trying to do, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't either.

….perhaps it was scientific. If I remember rightly, he had impressive stats for delivering balls into the box. I think it might have been late in the window and I imagine those stats would’ve ticked a few boxes for Brands who clearly wanted ball carriers at that point.
