Walcott always pinned back an opponents left back purely due to the threat of his pace. Yeah he would probably mess up 9 times out of 10 but you can not leave him unaccounted for.

I was annoyed when we loaned him out as I still felt he had a part to play especially when enabling James to move more centrally. If we got a fee for him then great but we weakened our squad and options for no real reason.
