Played well. Was doubled up on for most of the game.

Both him and Richarlison had tough times without a proper fullback in support or a proper link up player like James in the middle. More or less an assist for the first goal anyway.

Wont happen but for me Gordon and Bernard should come in for the first 45-60 minutes with James in the place of Siggurdsson against Utd midweek

Freshen it up a little and give the likes of Richarlison, Iwobi, Mina a rest until Boxing day

The thing with Iwobi is, he actually tries to make things happen. Too many of our midfielders don’t take any responsibility on the ball. He could have been steadier by just playing the easy ball but he does seem to try and force things. He just needs to improve that cross/final ball.

Same but for me I think resting a few when we have fans in the ground giving those lesser players that extra 10% maybe needed is more beneficial than on a cold wet away day against an alehouse side.

Likes of Gordon and Bernard for me would benefit playing behind 2000 blues fired up in a big cup game than an away game where the pressure is massively on us to beat an awful side with 10 stuck behind the ball.

I think this is alot to do with Carlo, he knows what players can and can't do. Then gets them to play to their strengths.

I gave Carlo props earlier. It was a good adjustment by him to play him at RWB and it taught Iwobi a few tricks

He's on a decent run but are we blinded by the wins? for me he still falls short of what we need in terms of creativity and end product, and If I am looking to replace a position in the future his is probably first on the list. Having said all that he has improved and is putting in graft so fair play to him.

This has definitely been his best month with the club. Now it remains to be seen is this the start of him turning the corner, or an aberration. Hes certainly not a player like Richarlison who can take the team on his back and just produce a goal from nothing, but hes been a healthy part of the team rather than the weak link.
