Alcohol … how’s your relationship with it ?

Never been able to handle heavy sessions and hardly ever go out but drink 2 or 3 cans a day at home, with meals. Buy the cheapest stuff available so it's not very strong, but I love a cold one in the summer.
Got a bit more into wine since I've been in Spain and I drink a bit more when it cools off.

As I say, I really enjoy a cold beer and drink frequently (about a litre a day in summer. 2 litres if we have a barbecue). but if I had to chose, I'd rather give up booze than coffee.

It’s not big and it’s not clever is it. Rooms spinning and feel like sh1t. Going to be a fun filled morning tomorrow
Fun, isn't it...last time I have that many Long Island Iced Tea's...maybe; they were feckin' good and the tab was free, props to the 'tender in D.C. Ended up having to walk that one off along the Potomac in National Harbor, MD after getting an Uber back to the Gaylord (what a hotel name, nice place though).

Love Long Islands. Make them at home every now and then.

I am (43) not old but don't go out out as often as I did 20 years ago, I used to be able to handle a session when I was in the Armed Forces and was a seasoned drinker. In February of this year I was out with some mates who play for Blackburn, they had just played Watford and were up for 'a few beers' now bear in mind they are in their 20's and pro athletes I tried to go toe to toe in rounds. A dozen pints later I couldn't find my hotel at 4am, had to be up at 9am for an event we were attending on the Sunday and it was all wrong. I spent the day head in hands between the toilet and the venue entrance throwing up, I still felt rough on the Wednesday morning! I like us all have said 'never again' many many times however this was the never again of never again moments and I have had one glass of wine at a celebration party since. I don't miss it and feel a lot better for it. Damn it was a good night though!
