Since The Cure are my favourite band I'm gonna be impartial and say Songs of a lost world by The Cure is my favourite album of the year.

Ludicrous that they can come back with that, genuinely an album worth the wait.

At number 8 on my list is Lives Outgrown by Beth Gibbons. A sort of Celtic Folk Rock album packed with hauntingly beautiful songs. A stunning record.
