Soz mate we try not to employ bigots at Goodison.Gary Hamilton won the Irish Cup with Glenavon, they play in blue, he beat the financial super power that is Linfield, does that qualify him as a winner and therefore in the frame for the Everton job.

Before people dismiss this you have to consider that he's a proven winner now and would also bring Rooney back. Evertonian too.
But obviously he isn't foreign and eccentric enough so he won't curry favour with all your continental football obsessing quilts.

Never wanted Jose because I knew we wouldn't get him.
Don't care if he is one of us but then I don't agree with the statement that he is one of us anyway. Hate the man tbh
I'm guessing you all wanted Jose, worked out well that.
He used us to force the issue with United. Koeman will do the same.
Stubbs is one of us.
Bring a blue home I say.
Never trust anyone from Kirkby...
Where's Hibbo then?Stubbs who only managed 100 games so far in his career.
This is just a thread for fishing
Stubbsy being appointed as Everton manager this summer is just what this forum needs.
Also as a fellow Kirkby lad he would be able to get inside Baines' head and psyche him up as our next trophy winning captain. Rooney for the winner.
Everton are back. Everton are north end.
You don't mind,if I give it a miss.Really? Wow !
Alan Stubbs IS an Evertonian. He's finding his way in coaching/management and I wish him well. I really don't think he's ready for PL yet, let alone the next EFC manager. I think he said exactly that this morning when he was interviewed on the radio. I think he said that he'd made no secret of wanting to manage Everton one day but he needs to learn his trade first.
Top bloke for me. Not ready for us yet but let's not dis him. We should be pleased for him and watch his development with interest.

Controversial to some, but being a fellow Kirkby lad I could support him.
He has took a risk and gone upto Scotland to learn his trade and done a wonderful job. Hibs play some good stuff and now have a trophy to show for it against a financial super power of Rangers.
A true blue who is born local to us and would bleed for us. Compared to the mercenary types of Emery I'd have Stubbs before him.
Potential to be the English Ferguson.
