Alan Stubbs

Controversial to some, but being a fellow Kirkby lad I could support him.

He has took a risk and gone upto Scotland to learn his trade and done a wonderful job. Hibs play some good stuff and now have a trophy to show for it against a financial super power of Rangers.

A true blue who is born local to us and would bleed for us. Compared to the mercenary types of Emery I'd have Stubbs before him.

Potential to be the English Ferguson.
WOOL

Hope he develops into a good manager but he is a long way off our level.

He's done well to reach back to back finals and end Hibs' long run without a trophy but he has still failed to get them promoted twice in a row, the season coming up they will be one of the favourites to win the league and then if it happens he can prove himself in the SPL.

He's already been linked with teams in the championship and would still be seen as a gamble even at that level so he's got a way to go before being considered as a manager for us although i would love him to reach that level one day.

Also he was heavily involved in the earlier development of our golden generation of young players who are now u21s and ready to be brought into the first team.

There's loads more plus points about considering Stubbs than there are for Emery.
the only thing he done with the youth was send them the bookies to put his bets on

We won the under 21 League with him as manager.

The last manager to win a trophy at Everton.

I'm guessing you all wanted Jose, worked out well that.

He used us to force the issue with United. Koeman will do the same.

Stubbs is one of us.

Bring a blue home I say.

Never wanted Jose because I knew we wouldn't get him.
Don't care if he is one of us but then I don't agree with the statement that he is one of us anyway. Hate the man tbh

Until @MickM86 says it's true I won't believe it
