Good news, don't want him to go,hopefully he'll prove a lot of doubters wrong next season and beyond.

either AJ is happy and he aint going....or we're holding out for more money, which I cant see us doing to be honest.

Happy days

on sky sports news now everton have rejected a 9m bid from wigan for striker andrew johnson
.. and I hope Moyes said something along the lines of "[Poor language removed] and don't darken our doors again"

Well although i am only guessing i would say that the club will sell, but are looking for more money. I would imagine that Bruce would have been in contact with Moyes about availability before actually putting a bid in.

If he gets a nod then he puts a bid in, often lower then what is origanly quoated, haggleing begins over 1 or 2 mill and they meet somewhere in the middle. The fact that this has been made public probably by Wigan is designed to put pressere on Everton if we are willing to sell as its now in the public domain. Not before Bent please!

To be honest I'd rather we kept him now. I'm not his biggest fan but he's a good lad and I do get the feeling he's being forced out of the club. I don't like that to be honest. AJ despite his limited ability has given his all and doesn't deserve that. Let him stay if he wants to stay.

I dont buy that. Its not like he's Ronaldo or anything, hes our 2nd choice striker and I dont think Wigan are a team we can strangle every penny out of to sell him, espeically over 1 or 2 mill, AJ's reportedly being given 50g a week too.

AJ doesnt want to go I think.

I'd like David Moyes and Bill Kenwright to restate their comments from just 2 weeks ago that he isn't for sale.

That's not too much to ask. I mean, it's not like we have to sell to buy...is it?

Dont think so to a point. We'd have snapped 9mill from them but we havent so we're not.

Once the right bid comes in , the board and Moyes will accept and he'll be sold.

Anything between £10.5m and £12m and you won't see him again in an Everton shirt.

i would not describe aj as dead wood. he can bring something to the team. unlike a few of the players we have sold in the past he can change a game.

a good player to have on the bench, or even to start with a 442 formation.

sadly i think we are holding out for more money or other offers but i still think aj will only return to london and an 11m bid from west ham will do it
