just haven't got a goal scorer in the side,play decent at home as they have a good support who get behind them,but they never really got a challenge going.

Caufield as strikes as being too negative, bit too much kick and chase which is a shame as Cork have some lovely footballers. John O'Flynn looked a shadow of himself last night. Really missed O'Sullivan.

I watched the Cork game last night and they were very poor - surprised at lack of urgency from them all around the pitch.

Rovers have also been very disappointing this season but hopefully we hang on for a Europa League place

at the game myself, we had you worried for a while , good game though and the Dundalk lids were vocal throughout.
I agree, if Limerick play like that in the remaining games they might escape yet.

Fairly accurate article here by Ed Leahy here regarding the league but as he says himself nothing really new or innovative..

I always find it strange the poor attendances of Irish League football given how much the game is loved over here.they toy with kick off times,go to Summer league, but still struggle with the crowds.

Personally I think folks over here watch too much premiership on the television so wouldn't go and watch the sport at that level, ( IMO it borders around div 2 standard),not realizing two teams of the same standard and the atmosphere at a ground can create a fine contest.

Meanwhile we beat bozos 4-2 on penalties in the Leinster SC semi at Dalyer.

Any time we beat them is good but hopefully we will be much stronger in the real competitions next season.
