Sometimes you just have to accept that you have made a serious error in the transfer market and get rid no matter what. As Tubey says above on this kind of form McGeady isn't even worth a contract here. Release him and get Lennon in as a cheap(ish) replacement,.

I agree but the issue here is that anyone who'd seen McGeady knew how meh he'd be. I said as much, as an Ireland follower, before we signed him. What on earth Bobby saw in him I don't know.

If someone can pick up his contract, we should consider just cutting our losses and getting rid for, well, nothing.

He's so far below what is required of a player at our level it's quite frightening he's had a career beyond the level of our opposition tonight.
