Correct. He's not getting a game ahead of that lot, and then you have to factor in Pienaar and Kone as well. Best he finds another club and gets games under his belt if he is going to have any chance of making the Ireland squad for the summer. Still has plenty to offer.

Apart from Geri his technical ability is probably 2nd or 3rd best out of the wingers we have (Geri and Pienaar was/are the 2 more technical, Kev is more head down and hope something works out), his ability to buy himself a yard to get in a cross has always impressed me and i liked that he tended to hang the ball in the air instead of just firing it across, the downside to him though is he is nowhere near consistent enough for imo any of the premierleague teams, Villa or Sunderland maybe due to there squad being terrible but he just seems the type who would suit the championship more where the defenders afford a bit more time and the ability he does have gets a chance to show.

Problem with that is he aint on Championship wages and no team can really afford him in Scotland except Celtic who have refused to pay it so going to be interesting to see where he ends up.

Should probably add i don't particularly rate McGeady, think his all round game was poor just that he had the fundamentals of a traditional winger just didnt show them often enough
