The Equaliser
Player Valuation: £50m
Awful, awful player.
One of the worst I've ever seen play for Everton.
He's a good player who is maybe a bit inconsistent to make it at Everton but that is way OTT boss.

Good player?
Really?
For me, the worst 'winger' we've had a permanent transfer since Simon Davies.
van der Meyde?Good player?

van der Meyde?
Which wasn't that long ago.
But you said he was one of the worst players ever to play for Everton, which is a tad OTT.
van der Meyde?
On the pitch, considerably better.
His contribution to Goslings goal vs Liverpool and subsequent celebration alone was better than anything the poor mans James McFadden has done.

McGeady provided Coleman's last minute winner against Cardiff the season before last, he set up Lukaku's last minute winner against West Ham a couple of months ago, he scored a decent goal against Leicester. He's done more for us than van der Meyde did in 4 years. Not saying he's ultimately good enough for us, by the way
No, no. If you're going to tell me what I said, at least get it right.
I said one of the worst I've ever seen play for Everton.
I maintain my opinion.
Van Der Meyde was appaling. He had one 45 minute purple patch in a game against West Ham and that was about the sum total of his contribution.
He was a disaster on the pitch. There's no way he put in a better shift than McGeady.
This is getting seriously bizarre now.
