Most wingers do really. Including Mirallas. Only the top wingers in the world pull it off consistently.

True. I just have this image of him over-egging the pudding a bit too much before delivery. I cant say I saw him much for his Russian team. Apparently he's played pretty well. £4M cant be argued with in this mad climate though...Liverpool have just paid almost twice as much for a player who's got about 7 first team games behind him!

Does everyone remember this time last year, the rumours of Naismith signing and we had people defending him and also people slating him as well.

cant beleive some people are saying mcgeady is crap.
hes fast , has quick feet , flair , skillfull , can dribble , can pick a pass and can take a tackle and at 27 should be in his prime .£4 million is a bargain
if pienaar and miralles are our 2 first choice wingers then id rather mcgeady as back up than magaye osman anichebe or naismith. in fact id say mcgeady would be ahead of pienaar potentially.
im sure spartak and celtic fans would agree we would have a bargain.

He's got a lot of talent, but I don't reckon he's ever shown it off properly. Hard to know exactly why that is.

At 4 million, it could be a brilliant signing or a fairly inexpensive flop. Worth a crack I reckon.
