Do you think those chimps are clever enough to outwit other PL boardrooms?
Think the real question is Dave - why are you so utterly convienced that they can't?

What a brilliant AGM it was for Carlos, let me explain.

While everyone was screaming we're rich, we're rich. Other clubs looked on and thought, yeah we're going to ask a lot more for our players when you come calling. Right now we have a world class manager who has been promised funds for new players and other clubs think we are skint.

Now I'm not saying we will suddenly be buying Messi, what I am saying is that there is more chance we will pay less for targeted players than if they considered us rich, which we actually are. I'm also not saying that the whole purpose of looking poor was to get players cheap, it's just one of the benefits of it appearing that way.

We have a very rich owner and a stupidly rich person that is on the same board of directors as our owner at USM. The future isn't as dim as a RS, it's positively bright. New stadium, world class manager and by then a team of world class players. Bring it on and strap yourself in.

If a team wants £50m for a player mate they're not going to let us have that player for £40m just because the impression is we're not rich.

Dave. It isn't a question of outwitting or fooling anybody.
There are rules and regulations within which football clubs must operate but as other clubs have exposed areas of weakness regarding those rules and we are exploiting where others have gone before.

You may not have much regard for the people shown but maybe that says more about you.

You're getting the piss taken out of you. That board were there last night to announce £110M losses. A calamity. And all they had to do to get you and others back onside was to tell a tall story about Usmanov throwing £30M at the club.

"Not arsed lad - Uzzy's got this lad" <---------------- The desired outcome they wanted from fans last night. And it seems like they got it.

For the period to June 2019, thanks to Moshiri pumping in another £50 million.
And the loss-making still needs to be addressed as we added players and wages last summer go into next years accounts.

The USM capital injection, is an increase of 36 million, that's pretty close to our net spend last summer i noticed mate. Its the wages to turnover ratio that looks problematic, but we have shed a good few bodies with lads leaving as well as taking on new wages i.e. player trading, hopefully we can sustain.

It must be amazing being 100% correct about everything all the time no matter what evidence is presented.
