We got 3 million for McCarthy too but You also forgot the 24 million we spent on Kean so spend of about 20 million on transfers.

Good point, I knew I should have thought before posting !

I'm sure it was Brands who said that the purchase of Gomes wasn't included in the 18/19 accounts.
Lossl is allegedly (stresses allegedly) on significantly more than Robles was.

I don't remember him saying that, and didn't take notes, but it doesn't sound like the sort of thing you'd have dreamt, and, given the window formally opened on the 1st July, it does seem that I've had a bit of a 'mare here.

edit : Just checked and the window opened last Summer in May 2018, so my 'mare is continuing, but at least this time it's not all bad.

Why not just stick to what we know and is in the public domain. Moshiri is the principal owner of Everton. He clearly wants to invest in the Club but his hands are tied by FFP. Again sticking to what we know a company part owned by Moshiri has made significant deals with Everton. Anything else is just guesswork

I love the way you use Forbes to back up your point but continually label Usmanov as the richest man in Russia, when Forbes clearly state he isn't. You then compound that error by adding in a bit of waffle and innuendo regarding Putin. Well if your conspiracy theory is correct then surely Putin is the richest man in Russia.

If the USM collective as you amusingly call it have a big interest in Football then why wasn't it USM who held shares in Arsenal. It wasn't it was Moshiri and Usmanov as individuals. Which shows your willingness to throw Skoch in to the pot and then add up the whole assets of USM as basically being at the behest of Everton as a bit daft.

Please explain to me why Usmanov hasn't formally invested in the Club.

Well we know Moshiri is the owner of Everton, and we know that USM have pumped substantial funds into Everton, and Skoch is a key member of that. Thats not guesswork. Thats in the public domain. The only guesswork is yours, that he doesn't like football. I am banking on you not knowing him so it's a guess. It's irrelevant either way.

I am not sure what my conspiracy theory is around Putin? I will have to check out if he's no longer Russia's richest man, he was widely reported as such. Either way he's a massively wealthy man. Forbes have said his and Moshiri's wealth they are aware of is much less than they publicly estimate. Thats not a conspiracy theory on my part, thats just me reporting what they have said.

Finally, it's not a conspiracy theory to state that many of the wealthy in Russia have acquired wealth in areas that could be described as dubious. It was a very chaotic time in the 90's and many darker forces took hold. These are widely historically accepted points. They are not conspiracies. The economy collapsed.

I have no idea why USM didn't invest in Arsenal. Are you interested in engaging in my thoughts, or are you just going to disengage and start throwing about phrases like "conspiracy theory"?

As for Usmanov, loads of reasons. I've speculated on them multiple times. It doesn't come as any major surprise. Why would he?

I’m sure they built a big hole punch for £300m.

£114m to build. And according generates an extra £20m for them.
New Analfield Rd is due to cost £70m. Won't generate as much as Main Stand though as they're putting no corporate in. Just more seats.

This is why we need at least 62k at BMD

No problem CB, I didn't make a full set of notes either... well not the full meeting, I made quite a few early on.

It generates 12m extra.

Also I imagine despite the big outlay in the summer we should be OK for FFP this financial year.

Sold Gana, Lookman, Onyekuru & Vlasic all for profits.

Then for next year from this summer - getting Kenny out the door for a £15 million or so fee would give us a big boost with him coming from the academy in terms of FFP.

Outgoing transfers have no impact on FFP.

FFP is solely a money in, money out thing, unlike STCC which concerned itself with player profits, which has now been scrapped.

That isn't true. Outgoing players affects your amortisation costs. You make a profit or less depending on how much you sell the player for and what his book value was.
