Positives,

Gerard is on his last legs,

So called top 4 challengers are all struggling this year, bar chelsea and city,

We're only a few games in and we all know it only takes a few back to back wins and you shoot right up the table,

Barkley is on his way back,

Oviedo is already back, Oviedo baby, oviedo wooooh

Kone shall soon be 100% and hes bringing his camel, so lube up

Positivity thread so i wont share what I believe will be the selected third body in the middle!! Naismith will be huge on Saturday. Look what Villa did with Agbonlahor last week sitting on Gerrard the while game. They hadnt a clue what to do so I can see Naismith doing a similar job this wknd. Kev il frighten the life outa them again if plays and Lukaku will be well up for it after last season going off early

Whilst Rom is clearly struggling at the moment, he does at least have 2 league goals to his name already and a good record against them so let's hope he can put in a decent shift on Saturday.

His camel is otherwise engaged...

As poor as our record has been at Anfield, this is the first time in a good few years where Everton are probably deemed considerable underdogs. The last few we have always been flying and even last year many thought we had a chance. Still not forgive Moyes for his selections before the cup game against sunderland but thats a different story. We might aswell go there on Saturday and give it a good go, its not going to break our season if we lose, but 3 points could certainly make it.

of course the beauty of that was not only did we get stuffed at anfield (yet again) we also got through to have our hearts broken by them at Wembley by beating Sunderland.

He cant go there Sat and play with 2 wingers. Mirallis will play with Nais & Lukaku but it will have to be an extra body in with McCarthy & Barry. Gibbo a good shout to keep it tight while still allowing the 2 full backs to get forward. Wel see what Bobby has in mind I suppose.

Probably something stupid like a 2 3 4 1 formation.

Good Thread, some of the kneejerk stuff being spouted elsewhere on the forum is laughable, might sound like stating the bleedin obvious but once we get our defence back in order then the rest will look after itself, I expect Distin to 'officially' be the back up to Jags and Stones from now on, hats off to the man who has been overall very good for us, think the derby will be won by which defence stands up the most and i would fancy us based on that as they look all over the place in the centre whereas our downfall has mainly been individual errors, also expect osman will get the nod ahead of mcgeady starting off
