so will we go with the moyes trend and be ace after crimbo?

i bloody hope so cuz if we are in the top 10 in the league come then and going by moyes's results after crimbo we might just do it!!!

so what you reckon?

fingers crossed!

Fingers crossed! Not playing too cracky at the moment and the next few games could be painful so just have to hope so

The after Christmas will not happen every year.

We've been lucky it has in recent years as it really saved us.

Hope it happens again though.

Have we learned nothing?

If were boss in the beginning of the year/first half, were gash on the reverse.

I'm not looking forward to after Christmas if were in the Top 5 come New Year.

if we keep clear of injurys, maybe get one or two in on loan or cheap ,and keep hold of baines and felli no reason why we cant to well, At the moment we have jelavic and penaar out of sort if they hit form can see us having no problems having a decent run.

It'll be a blow out after xmas simply because so many expect otherwise and we all know what happens then....

The Moyes contract issue will drag on a la Van Persie and the truth of his intentions will become clear - "Rats, sinking ship, I'm alright Jack" are phrases which will echo till summer.

A lot depends on the January Window.

Keep the big guns, and bring in a few Jelavic and Pienaar types and we will be fine.

Lose a big gun or 2 and Moyes will not sign on for longer and it will all go tits up.

Do people not actually realise the reasons for our poor start/ good finish seasons?

There a a few various ones which might have a small part to play but the main difference is the way we play.

Like I said in the match thread last night, jags played a long ball to felliani while othrr players were close by to pick up the second ball and start an attack. This time last year jags hoofed a long ball to cahill marked by three players with no blue shirt near him.

We simply played a different type of football in the second half of seasons, but this year we play it first half.
