I'm of Ugandan descent and i don't even care for it.

When Uganda were in it 2017 and they hadn't been in Afcon for 39 years as well until that tournament, i never watched any of their games.

Meh tournament, even more absurd it's every 2 years, glutton for punishment, better standard watching league 2.

A lot of African people do enjoy it though dont they?

I have Egyptian mates who love it. They dont have the money of the European game, but honestly football owes its debt of gratitude to the African continent, so hopefully some support can be given moving forward.
