Its Aussie rules it involes running, kicking, marking (Catching) and Tackling there is heaps of talk about AFL Vs Soccer at the moment because the Goverment are trying to get the 2018 or 2022 World Cup witch will cause AFL to stop for 8-10 weeks and AFL been Australia's main sport there are alot of unhappy people.

AFL needs to get a grip of its own self importance.

Its the WORLD CUP, DIMETRIOU!!!!

Im pretty sure the off season goes from the end of March to September, so thats about 6 months of the year when you don't play the silly game in tiny shorts.

Western Sydney....what a joke if they think kids will want to play AFL instead of footy or football...

Thats what I think about that.
 
Australian Rules Football was big on ESPN back in it's early days before they started winning contracts to show more mainstream sports here in the USA.
 

Yeah. Setanta pretty much shows AFL over here. Late Saturday nights which I guess is Sunday lunch time matches for you all.

The best thing about it is the biff. Elbows, knees, they don't seem to care.

The best viewing is the cross with Gaelic Football against Ireland. I think they stopped it because it was too bloody.
