I called the Villa result because I know Everton all too well - if they want me to respect them as an institution maybe start giving something back for the undying support? Instead of making us all look like fools for having hope when the all too often cowardly bottlejob comes time after time when we have a chance of actually doing something/making a statement.
Gomes perfectly summed us as a club up against Villa - in the words of Carragher "is that Andre Gomes' brother out there on the pitch?".

I dont mind losing games - its the cowardly bottlejobs I cant stand and we see it all too often mate.
Villa when we could have gone top - was a disgrace with players lumbering around when they should have been running through brick walls. Fulham last season was the exact same when we had a chance of Europe.
The club/players completely crap themselves when an opportunity arises - I wish I could be like you and have hope that we'll turn up tomorrow and smash Bournemouth all over the shop - but I just know my club all too well and more than likely it'll be players forgetting how to play football and the defence defending like league one players as thats Everton when we have chance to do something.
