Adrien Rabiot

He's an excellent midfield all-rounder, and if Carlo wants to play with a diamond next season then I think Allan, Doucoure, Rabiot and James has a lot of potential behind Dom and Richy.

However, I think the big quality we are missing in our midfield at the moment is someone who can pick ball up and drive 30-40 yards with it in next to no time. I'm not sure Rabiot is a player that could really do that for us. He's not the quickest.

Consign this one to the dust bin.
He's not coming here. He's getting pretty regular game time at Juventus and is on a massive salary having gone there on a free. Good player admittedly, but has a history of being difficult so could very easily upset the balance within the squad which Carlo won't want to do.

For me it's just another player lazily linked with us due to previously having played under Carlo. I really don't see any mileage in this, albeit he is the type of player who would upgrade our midfield.

Apparently he can pass, dribble and tackle.
Not sure how quick he is but as @MikelsGoat says players in the mid don't need a lot of pace so as long as he isn't dreadfully slow, seems like what we need.

Im no expert on the boy, but I think people on here would consider him slow.

Hes a skilful player, not a power and pace player.

But he runs and passes forward.

I think if I had to compare him to anybody it would be a better version of Gomes.

Bars not that high then.
