Vlasic is another matter, I think he looks more complete than Lookman and would have less of an issue if he started more games for us.

Lookman shouldnt start before Boa based on performances, but I could see an argument for Lennon.

Lennon and Bolasie should both be sold now Walcott is signed...both opposites but neither good enough.

All the attention would be on walcott + if bolasie plays Walcott may well be double marked so it would null him also.

I'm in total agreement. Have said in many posts that I would have one of vlasic or lookman on the pitch at all times

He is not being loaned out because that is not what is needed, he is already involved in competitive football at a high level.

Lookman and Vlasic are at Finch Farm with the first team and their coaches learning what is expected of them. They are professionals playing in a hihghly organised game, not youngsters having a kick around in a town park or a school yard.

Footballers were described to me once as chess pieces and each piece will have a very clearly defined role. If a piece is not carrying out it's role properly that affects everbody else on the football chess board. I think Lookman and Vlasic are currently in a learning mode.
Young players like Kenny, Davies and Baningime have been tutored from their earliest days by coaches at an elite level.

Mate, bolasie is just as much of a liability defensively as lookman or vlasic... his decision making is equally as bad, his goal scoring record is worse than vlasic and lookman , also they don't look like headless chickens. Difference is bolasie is IN HIS PRIME! This is as good as it gets for him.

The point i am making is what has Bolasie done this season that is better than Lookman or indeed Vlasic?

They are the ones who deserve to start and it should be Bolasie coming off the bench.
 
what I find mad is how some people and the manager including don't think we can have to many youngsters starting at once, so vlasic/lookman don't really get a look in

yet the seniors who are playing over them have been absolutely woefull

If we can't play 2 wingers with Siggy in behind against WBA at home, I despair. I truly do.

Vlasic off the bench to replace one of them with 20 mins left too please. Regardless of scoreline.

You just know this isn't going to happen though.
 

This kid should be on the bench minimum.
I know some fans like Vlasic. Fair enough. But in my opinion Lookman has more potential. I'd give him some starts (in home games). If he doesn't cut it, then ok. Mirallas and Lennon moved on, and he still doesn't get a place on the bench at home to WBA? Something not rght there.
