Reminds me exactly what Moyes is doing.

The worst part is, new manager comes in and we find ourselves spending loads trying to fill the squad with flair and creativity again.

Even if it was solid and conservative Moyes had a plan and tactics and at least played a few wide and attacking players - at least Cahill Arteta thrived under him and Mirallas was a regular

I don't think Ron liked how much he gave the ball away against Split. I like him though he makes things happen particularly his pace will be useful away from home.
