Doesn't bode well for Dowell does it... considering how much RK has played aorund with winger options this season and Dowell hasn't had a look in seems like he is definitely out of favour.

Dowell isn't out of favour. He just isn't there yet, and hasn't been playing well for the U23s.
Plus, he's not really a winger IMO. Much more an attacking midfielder.
I'd have him out on loan asap to a lower Championship or high-end League One club though. Heck, we could give him to Charlton for the rest of the season. He needs that standard of football now if he's going to improve.

If he offers us what Lennon did Spurs at his youthful peak then i won't complain.
Lookman appears to be a wide-forward more than a winger.
He isn't a player who is going to stay wide and get crosses in but he has pace and trickery and a bit of guile about him - which is ideal for a flanking position to Lukaku in how Koeman appears to want us to set up.
One for the future, definitely, but I reckon we'll see some flashes of him this season as well.

The ones who regularly post about the under 23s and watch them kinda all say he's had a poorer year than last.
Last season when given the chance his confidence didn't look there the,same way it looked with Davies, holgate, and Kenny for me. Pace of the game seemed to surprise him at a higher level. Maybe needs a loan spell at a decent team.
We have paid extra, by all accounts, as we didn't want to send him back to Charlton for the rest of the season mate
