Ademola Lookman

The lad looks a player, two footed, creative, dribbling, pace to burn, confident he has a lovely first touch.

His decision making looks raw, his shooting looks erratic i would say he wont got the time he got in the Championship and Lge 1 and will take him a will to get up to the pace of the PL to be as effective, but looks a huge talent.

Looks a raw talent this lad. Can't see him getting away with some of those dribbles and getting as much time on the ball against prem defenders though.

He's young, so plenty of time to develop! :)

Sounds like a young Bolasie!

Know nothing about the lad. Is he first eleven ready?
I've never seen him play but to expect a teenager from League 1 to be able to make the transition to our starting eleven straight away would probably be too unrealistic.

However he is a player with pace to burn, appears to be a good dribbler and knows where the goals are. I'd expect him to become a regular late substitute when we need an injection of attacking flair.

Presuming it all goes ahead of course.

It is much too much to expect a young lad to come from a Division 1 side and get close to the first team immediately. I know the reported £10 mill is a lot but give him a chance.

Some of the London papers are suggesting, that Charlton wan't him back on loan for the rest of the season.

Alternatively, it is also suggested that Koeman views him as going straight into the first team squad at Goodison.

...I expect he'll be in and around the first team. It's some achievement for a 19 year old to be a regular starter in league football, it shows he's physically and mentally capable. It's a big step up ability wise but some actually find it easier to play with better footballers because they are on the same wavelength.

If he does sign I expect he'll immediately be on the bench.

The fuss around not loaning him back to Charlton would suggest Koeman wants him available to play. Still think it would be a massive bonus if he could go into the first team and improve things given his experience and age. But here's hoping.

...yep, the refusal to loan back convinces me he's wanted around the first team. The substitutes bench looks void of anybody who can make something happen with 20mins to go, this lad will fill that void.

That would make sense, the last thing I would want as a defender is a young lad coming on for the last 20 minutes who is full of beans and who has pace. You could see the odd late penalty.

Sounds just like .... um, er ... um .... oh yeah, Del

But with no PL experience.

Having said that, I reckon Lookman may be a regular starter next season
