He did not track back and done enough defensive work but I think he deserved a bench role though. But if he doesn’t want to stay here it’s ok players come players go.

What? Gylfi should start a 100% of our matches in the middle. Playing our 45m playmaker as a CM to compensate for putting a winger more central is madness. Play Lookman on the flanks, and Gylfi center, or absolute worst case, wide left. There is no reason to move good players from their natural positions just to play Lookman. He’s done nothing for us to prove worthy of even starting games, and now we’re changing the team setup just for him?
Again, this is madness!

I personally think Lookman is far better centrally than out wide.

Fortunately, in Silva's 4-3-3, the 'wingers' should be inside forwards.

It's why he's brought Richarlison in. He knows how to play that role exactly how Silva wants.
