They are all just repeating the same figures from whoever first reported it which was probably the nonsensical daily star or the like and the reality is that none of them know how much the deal is worth. I would bet that when Everton announce this one it will be an undisclosed fee. Brands will have gotten exactly what he wants for the deal.

Because with vlasic going for 14m lookman going for 16m and onyreku supposedly going for 15m we are getting rinced for money by selling top talents for absolutely nothing.

Keep him and we might loose money on him but other teams will know we'd rather walk away from a bad deal then take it because we're desperate. Then we'll get more money off teams for other players because we will be in a stronger negotiating position.

At the minute it looks like we're that desperate to shift players that were just accepting any offer.

A) they dont want to play here or cant play here in Onyekurus case, and
B) they're doing it in crap leagues, hardly a barometer to say they are top talents.

If the offer is what we think they're worth then they go. Weve got other priorities at the minute than holding places in the squad for players who dont want to be here. Holding onto players for too long has been a serious issue for us historically, I personally feel that we have done the right thing being so cutthroat with lookman, vlasic and Onyekuru if he goes. It sends the right message to the squad, if you dont want to be here then [Poor language removed]. Same with the coach full of players we have on loan at the moment.
