I'd love him to stay and succeed and he's proven there is quality there with his performances in Germany. But if 4 different managers haven't played him then you've got to feel there's a reason.

Flattered to decieve.

Just another run in a straight line pace merchant British winger.

3 managers at the club and he's never had a sustained run in the team.

Just shows how bad the recruitment has been at the club since Moshiri has been at the club, we have bigger net spend than 4 clubs in the top 6 since 2016.

and yet Silva has twice called him the 'present and future of the club', so he clearly thinks the guy has big talent... which anyone with two eyes can already see. It's just attitude which is questioned. All these shouts about how he's crap and managers can't be wrong are hilarious given the manager clearly thinks he's very good in terms of ability as does Brands hence why they wouldn't sell last summer.

Him leaving is probably best for both parties as this stage, assumption is he's never settled in Liverpool and if you're not happy at work its hard to be fully motivated regardless of pay. Think Southhampton would be a good move for him, he'd have a manager who he already knows will give him games.
Never once said he was crap.
But there is a reason he is not playing.
Talent without a good attitude wont work either

How’s Jordan ‘better than Sterling’ Ibe getting on mate? Or Dominic ‘he can be what he wants’ Solanke?

Lookman will come good as he has undoubted talent I’m just not sure it will be here. Reports of him being homesick and he seems the type who requires first team football every week to get consistency. Might be a Zaha type scenario.

Better than Azul and that Swansea bloke you are, best WUM in the history of the forum lol

I hope that behind the scenes Brands and Silva are much cleverer than we think, and have just promised him long-term development, taught him patience, and said that he can stay and learn and play over the next season and then 2020/21 aim to be a regular - it's simple really, as long as Lookman agrees.

Disagree with that, should point the finger at the managers and Walsh plus Bk.

If those rats across the park were selling Lookman they would get £35m + add ons for him.

Yet we are talking about £20m for Lookman and £12m for Vlasic, and £7m for Bolasie! Madness!

....fringe players at the top clubs will cost more because they are higher profile and have greater quality ahead of them. It’s the way it is.

I see no reason why he can’t just get big minutes off the bench. He has impacted the game several times (I still remember the filthy cross to Dom for the Palace winner) and he came on and changed it last week. Just give him minutes on the left where he can actually affect the game.

He hardly played this season and I’d imagine there will be another quality wide player in front of him next season. Also I think he wants to go. Silva has also hinted at a poor attitude.

Sometimes you have to cut your losses even with talented players and invest the money better, which I have faith in Brands doing.

Who are "we"? I don't know how clever Silva and Brands are. You clearly believe they are not that clever then? On what grounds pray?
