Clearly had some sort of attitude problem or something along those lines given his lack of appearances so it's probably best for all parties. I would fear he'd become another Redmond with a lot of hype when he was young and not really developing to the level he was expected to.

Replacing him with Vlasic or Onyekuru or else selling one or both and profiting with a new replacement at the level of someone like Lozano (not saying him specifically but that quality) is a great bit of business in my book. Chops down the squad and the wages whilst also boosting the overall quality.

I was going to suggest the exact same thing. Sell lookman, vlasic and Onyekuru and get Lozano in.

Have to say, I'm surprised (but not too much) at the handwringing and cries of mismanagement . Clearly we all know more than Silva (who has said nothing but positive things and rated Lookman) about who is putting in the work at Finch Farm and can play the system he wants to play. There's no doubt that Lookman has potential and I hope this isn't a transfer we regret within a few months or couple years but there's something on Lookman's end that prevented Silva from playing him more regularly.
