Ha just posted that in the Richarlison thread.. and absolutely right! But no we’ll think it’s fine to blow £50m on a Brazilian with a worse record and then happy to sell our boy for half the price but a better record.
I try not get too negative without real cause and as yet we haven’t sold Lookman or even entertained it.. but the point in value stands!

I really dont understand all the love for Lookman. In all honesty bar a couple of runs in a match what has he actually done that warrants everyone saying how great he is going to be? He had a half decent spell in Germany but in an Everton shirt he has seriously flattered to deceive.
I think the fee is a little low if quoting 16 - 18 million Euros but the lad must clearly want to go if indeed he does as both Brands and Silva have said they would like him to stay.

Think it’s the fact that we’re likely selling the most talented young player we have. The fact that Ronnie and Sam Allardyce didn’t value what he offered means absolutely nothing. Anyone with eyes can see that Mola, out of all our under 23s, has the best chance to be special. That’s the disappointment for me.

No I haven't, but by all accounts we would probably hear about it.
I can totally understand the fact that he felt wanted there and wants to go back.
What I can't understand is why Evertonians are now doing that thing of making him out to be better than he has actually shown. Yes he has potential, but it could go either way. I would like him to stay and fight for his place, but if he doesn't so be it.
I can understand people,having a problem with the fee, but if we get 20-25m for him plus add ons for him, the lad from Watford seem a fair swap, especially as the latter has shown more already in the premiere league to date.

I’m hoping the reason we only hear of RBL’s interest is because he hasn’t been made available. Hopefully we can take Silva at his word and we see Lookman/Richarlison in the same team.

Throw in the fact he was used really as an impact sub by them, it's like looking at a bloke playing fur the top 4 sides here in a similar role and using those stats to see how a player is better than someone at a lower half side.
Pretty sure forsberg has insane stats for rbl and frankly looks inferior to Sigurdsson every time I've seen the lad play.
