He had 7 starts at Leipzig in 6 months and he has 10 here in all competitions in 18 months. It isn't hard to figure out why he may have been able to produce more when he was there.

What has he produced in the time he has got here though?

Another crap performance today by the team, if he has anything about him (He is just back in training I believe) he will be working his backside off in training so that it is impossible to leave him out.

Need to stop making excuses. There are positions up for grabs that he can play in. Take them.

Admittedly not much. But his playing time has been so inconsistent for a young player that it can't be easy. Maybe when he gets a run of games he won't have anything to offer. I fear we will never find out.

It has been consistent under Silva though, he gets 30 mins or so every week unless he is injured, which he is.

I think he has a lot to offer but I think that about most of our players yet we get crap like today...

30 minutes off the bench is really not much in the grand scheme of things. He's got something like a fourth of the minutes of Bernard and Walcott who both aren't really up to much. It's tough for players to show all they can do in a half hour here and there.

Are we sure about that? Which starts of Lookmans show that he can't do it? The Newcastle game where Seamus and Gana couldn't figure out how to pass him the ball? He needs a chance.
