I don't wish this on you personally but I'd love for him to take 7 and Richarlison 9. Hate having good players in the 30s

I agree it is different but we also have zero games of evidence in the last calendar year of him playing for us from the start on the left hand side so we can't say for sure if he can do it. The evidence we do have is him coming off the bench and playing well which is admittedly not exactly the same but also we can look at the last 4 games for RBL last season where he produced 3 goals and 3 assists from starts at LW in a relatively competitive league.

Obviously nothing is certain but it is time to give him his chance in his best spot for maybe 2 or 3 games and see what happens. Bernard for all his good combinations in midfield doesn't have an assist since the Leicester game (which technically isn't an assist) and Richarlison hasn't created much and needs to be playing up top until we have a proper striker to combine with him.

I suppose I have to disagree with that. I thought he was excellent off the bench in the derby and did well today. I have some optimism he seems to rise to the occasion when playing top teams.

I dont think anyone has said hes a world beater.

For me, i just want him given 2 or 3 starts left or centre to see how he does...if he doesnt perform then bench him again.

I think lookman would be a cracking number 10 or in the hole behind . His toichbis emaculate and his feet are so quick that he could actually receive the ball centrally and beat players and draw fouls. I like the way he actually tries intricate, forward passes in tight areas , when everyone else bar gomes and Bernard choose the safe option. He’s very confident and I like that in my flair players
