Buzzing for this if he starts. I’ve been saying it for months (although granted being from Plymouth I don’t see every game live like most of you on here) that Walcott is so hit and miss going forward. Sometimes his touch and finishing is sublime, other times it is woeful. However, his refusal to work hard when defending is the thing that irritates me. Lookman seems to work a lot harder when we don’t have the ball. I may be wrong, and am open to taking a hammering on my opinions, but I think it’s the right time Lookman is now given a chance. Walcott should be a squad player and not a guaranteed first team starter which is what he has become this season.

Ive been saying almost the same for a while now, Walcott started the season very well, he was 1 of our better players, scoring goals and assisting, but he hasnt been at his best the last few weeks sadly. Its up to Lookman to take his chance when given, doesnt mean he has to score a hatrick or win us the game on his own, hes shown flashes of what he can do, now its about making himself impossible to drop. Walcott cant say hes done that.

But talk of selling him in Jan is a bit premature, ive said time and time again, if we replace them, I see no reason we should retain any player, but first they need replacing.
